As Filhas da Caridade de São Vicente de Paulo têm nova Superiora Geral, considerada sucessora de Santa Luísa de Marilac, a grande colaboradora de São Vicente de Paulo.

A eleição que marcou a escolha da Irmã Kathleen Appler (foto) como Superiora das Irmãs Vicentinas aconteceu ontem (25), em Paris, durante o Assembleia na Casa Mãe da Companhia das Filhas da Caridade.
A escolha da Ir. Kathleen teve grande repercussão, conhecida como uma verdadeira seguidora de S. Vicente: sorridente, organizada, alegre e simples. Muitas foram as manifestações de apoio pela escolha da irmã nas redes sociais como o Facebook e Twitter.
