A Sociedade de São Vicente de Paulo no Líbano está se dedicando a ajudar as pessoas afetadas pela grande explosão que aconteceu em Beirute em 4 de agosto de 2020.
Os vicentinos fornecem atendimento integral (emocional, saúdel e material), para muitos dos afetados por esta tragédia por meio da implementação de projetos que facilitam, na medida do possível, a melhoria de vida dessas pessoas que foram atingidas por essa tragédia.
Com esse intuito, a SSVP deu início a dois projetos, a reconstrução de moradias e a reabilitação de pequenos negócios familiares, em ambos os casos destruídos pela explosão.
As obras já foram concluídas em mais de 235 residências e 50 pequenos negócios, mas o objetivo é chegar à reconstrução de 1.000 casas e 300 empresas.
